Balsamic Glazed Chicken Breast
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions:
1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken breasts to the skillet.
3. Cook the chicken breasts for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Stir well to combine.
5. Pour chicken broth into the skillet and stir to deglaze, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
6. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce has reduced and thickened slightly.
7. Return the cooked chicken breasts to the skillet, turning to coat them in the balsamic glaze.
8. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb the flavors of the glaze.
9. Once done, remove the skillet from heat.
10. Transfer the glazed chicken breasts to serving plates. Spoon some of the balsamic glaze over the chicken.
11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy your flavorful and succulent balsamic glazed chicken breast!
