Keto Garlic Butter Steak and Broccoli
Ingredients:
4 small steaks (such as sirloin or ribeye), about 6 oz (170g) each
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
Red pepper flakes (optional)
Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions:
- Season the steaks generously with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks to the skillet and cook to your desired level of doneness, about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside to rest.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for 5-6 minutes until tender-crisp, stirring occasionally. If desired, sprinkle some red pepper flakes over the broccoli for added heat.
- Return the steaks to the skillet and toss them in the garlic butter sauce with the broccoli. Cook for another minute or until everything is heated through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.
